RUBEN RAMIREZ SR.
BROOKLYN
Ruben Ramirez, 93, passed away unexpectedly December 22, 2021, at the VA Hospital in Manhattan, NY. He was born on April 18,1928 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the son of Pedro Ramirez and Isabel Molina. Ruben served the U.S. Army
in the Korean War. Before serving his country,
he married his beloved Victoria Rodriguez
and settled in Brooklyn NY.
They celebrated 72 years of marriage
in September. Ruben was a dedicated and loyal member of the Blinded Veterans Association at the Fort Hamilton VA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his twin brother Rene, his other 16 brothers and sisters. Surviving in addition to his wife Victoria, is his son, Ruben Jr., and his partner Milagros; his daughter, Isabel; three grandchildren, Vanessa, and son Christian,
Denise and husband Matthew and Ruben III and wife Ana; one sister, Margie; many great grandkids, many great- great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
